WHAT IS VINYL?
Vinyl is a self-adhesive decal that can be applied to any smooth surface, whether this is a wall, mirror, table, tile, or almost any other smooth and clean surface you can think of!
HOW LONG DOES VINYL LAST?
When applied correctly to a smooth, clean surface, vinyl can last up to a few years, giving you plenty of time to admire your product's prettiness!
CAN WALL VINYL BE APPLIED TO ANY SURFACE?
Unfortunately not. Vinyl is best applied to a smooth, clean surface, and will not last on a textured, bumpy, rough or newly painted surface. We are not responsible for vinyl that does not stick when applied to these surfaces.
APPLICATION OF WALL VINYL:
1. Use a cloth to clean the surface you desire to apply the vinyl to, however DO NOT wash the wall or surface immediately before application.
2. Peel the backing paper from the back of the vinyl design (this is the part that has a more paper-like texture)
3. Place the vinyl design on the desired surface and smooth it down vigorously with a credit card or any other similar and firm object, making sure the design has been stuck down well.
4. Peel the transparent tape off the front of the design.
5. Step back and admire the prettiness!
HOW WILL MY WALL VINYL LOOK WHEN IT ARRIVES?
Your vinyl will come cut into the chosen pattern/shape/wording etc. in the colour and size you specified when ordering. Some vinyl, namely the patterns, will come on the backing sheet which you will then cut up in order to apply each pattern object onto each area of the surface you would like them to be. Some will come with the backing sheet pre-cut around each object.
REMOVING VINYL:
Vinyl is very easy to remove from a surface. If applied to a wall, simply peel up the edge and remove. Use a hair-dryer on low heat to remove vinyl placed on windows or mirrors.

Collection within the Pietermaritzburg area is absolutely free, which can be arranged by contacting us via email. If you are outside of Pietermaritzburg, we charge R100 for a highly recognised courier company to deliver your special order within 3-4 working days right to your door (or any other address where you will be available to receive the product). Once shipped, you will receive an email to inform you and a tracking number for your order.
ORDER TIME:
All our products are manufactured to order. Once we have received your payment, we generally ask for 1-2 weeks to create your product (just to be safe), however, depending on order size + details, you could recivie your order sooner than that!
RETURNS/REFUNDS + EXCHANGES:
We do not offer returns or refunds on any products or custom orders. We will offer an exchange on orders that are not 100% satisfactory, however we will only exchange a product within 7 days from delivery and if it is returned in the original, unused condition. We do not offer a refund on delivery costs, therefore you will need to pay for the product to be returned to us. Email us at hello@pureword.co.za for any queries on this matter.
OUTSIDE OF SOUTH AFRICA:
Unfortunately at this time we do not offer our products outside of South Africa.
